I have a tivo edge and I get this error code d261 for newsmax channel 1115, every other channel works fine, I can view it on the streaming app just fine

It's probably an IP channel and a Tivo is not able to receive those. See https://www.reddit.com/r/Tivo/comments/mvpq87/unsupported_channels_on_cable_card/.

So I guess the new cablecard xfinity support told me I needed won't work, They are sending me a new one
