CW channel audio problems

The CW channel has issues during the programs. Sounds over compressed then there’s an annoying short spike in volume. This only happens on the CW channel during the programs. Commercials seem fine. Audio Description is off and I’m only using the Samsung TV speaker..

Good day Dshartle 👋 I'm glad you took the time to reach out and let us know what's going on as I know exactly how annoying it is to have one of my favorite channels barely understandable because of audio issues! Know you're in the right place for help, and we can definitely try some things to get that back in the clear 👍

To start, if the problem is only happening on the CW network from what you've noticed, can you try toggling Secondary Audio Programming (SAP) on/off via the X1 remote and see of that alters the audio at all? If that doesn't work, try unplugging your equipment directly for about 10 seconds and plugging it back in.

The CW channels (1166, 805, and 13) have issues during the programs. The sound has spike fluctuations between really low to normal to really loud. I’ve already worked to resolve the issue via chat. They refreshed the signal, which only resolved the issue for a couple of hours. This happens on all of my tvs — Samsung and Visio. I’ve completed all of the troubleshooting options without success. This has been going on for more than two weeks and is extremely annoying.

Ekohsc Thanks for reaching out about the audio issues when watching CW channels. Are you using our equipment on the TV's or the streaming app when the audio fluctuates?
