Credits or refund due to loss of Scripps contract
Apparently all of the news stations that I’m interested in are now gone. Is my bill going to be reduced moving forward? What’s an alternative to being able to watch the same shows that were on Scripps ? If you’re saving money by not offering those scripps services moving forward are our bills going to go down or if you are able to make a deal with them, how much is our bill going to go up?

I agree. We didn't get Avs or Nuggets games for 3 yrs because of a contract dispute with Altitude KSE

Yesterday I spent nearly two hours on the phone and on the website chat trying to get information on this. The reps I contacted seemed to have no clue as to the Scripps contract dispute and kept telling my missing channels must be a technical issue. They wanted to pass me off to tech support when it's clearly not a tech support issue. And they had to ask which channel(s) were affected, and how long has this been going on. Seriously? Your own people claim to be unaware of the blockage and don't know anything about credits on our bills? Doesn't Xfinity have a data base showing which areas of the country and which channels are affected by your contracts, and which customers are due compensation? It's unacceptable.

Refund is in order. A couple days is one thing but this long IS TOO MUCH TO EXPECT YOUR CUSTOMERS TO HANG ON

I'm disappointed in the CBS situation with Xfinity. What is the process for me to cancel my service? It may be time to cut "the cord" and explore other options via YouTube or Hulu.

So it’s now been over a month and Xfinity hasn’t had the decency to update me (or anyone else I’m assuming) with any kind of update on when I/we will be getting back the channels we continue to pay for yet cannot access.
I went through just my list of Favorite Channels and I’m paying g for NINE channels I cannot access.
When do we get a refund?

It has now been a month of no resolution. As a Michigan resident, Xfinity is NOT required to refund subscribers. How convenient WE the subscribers do not receive what we paid for…Xfinity saves all of the money they did NOT pay Scripps for the last month as well as ALL OF THE MONEY they pocket from subscribers who have these channels as part of their paid plans. After all of the years I have paid to this Company, and the downward spiral in quality and service combined with the ridiculous monthly fees…we will be finding alternative service. Our lines were ran in 1987 and have never been upgraded. During that time, hundreds of computers and tv’s have been added to those same lines…it is no wonder the quality is poor at best. This was the tip of the iceberg for us. We do not appreciate as customers, being held hostage because Xfinity wants more profit without better service quality.

I just signed up with Xfinity on March 18, 2026 as I'm new to the area. How disappointing to find out weeks later that the ABC channels are no longer part of the lineup only weeks in. If the contract is not settled by the beginning of May, I will be switching to streaming. This couldn't have come as a surprise to the companies, they should have been working this out months in advance.
