Create TV Being Removed From Lineup

I was watching Create TV and a banner appeared at the bottom of the screen saying it will be removed from the lineup on January 1st. Is this something that was Comcast's decision? If so, I would very much like the network to stay.

I don't want Xfinity to delete Create TV from the Xfinity lineup. Do not delete. I will drop Xfinity.

I’m so very disappointed that the Create channel is being removed, it’s my go to tv! Seriously considering canceling and will source my internet from someone else. Tired of paying more and more and getting less and less!!

To all you trump/repub voters, it is likely you did this to yourself, since repubs have been after PBS for years, & through trump they defunded it. For once, this is not Comcast's fault. "Create" & "World" have been removed by LVTV/Ch39 for lack of funding. See below announcement from LVTV managemt:

"Unfortunately, this is a move made by WLVT as result of funding cuts. This is part of an e-mail i [Comcast] received:

Sadly, I have the unpleasant job of sharing that the Create and WORLD channels will be removed from our program line-up as of January 1, 2026. ***There are a few factors at play, but ***funding*** is most certainly the largest.*** [Emphasis added] The channel should still be available through other carriers / PBS stations. Local listings can be found on their websites: https://www.CreateTV.com and https://WorldChannel.org

Thank you again for your support and viewership. My apologies for the sad news.

Comcast keeps disavowing responsibility for this, but the truth is that if they paid the station proper money then the station(s) obviously could and would continue to carry Create despite any funding cuts. Let's be real. Comcast can afford it and my cable costs four time what it recently did and they're cutting what they PAY.
