crackle

When trying to watch a show on the app Crackle (offered by Xfinity) - it asks me to activate on their website with a  code. However, the code doesn't work and Crackle says Xfinity needs to update the app on their platform. The code Xfinity offers is a 5 letter code and needs to be 6 letters or else that proves the app needs updating and Crackle can't activate until that happens. I can watch it by going in to my LG TV menu, but not from the XFinity menu which is what I use of course with the Dvr and box. Is this being addressed by Xfinity, or why even offer it for programs? thanks

@beaderz

Can you log back out of crackle as since its a free on demand subscription through Xfinity its should not ask to activate a subscription

@XfinityOrlandoM I am now not able to get to Crackle through Xfinity at all. Whether from the Apps menu or through a show episode that says 'play on Crackle', I click on Crackle and it just times out to a blank screen evenutally. I have to go back to 'last' to get back to Xfinity menus.

@beaderz Hello and good morning, and thank you for reaching out over our Xfinity community Forums. I am so sorry to hear that you are experiencing these Crackle issues, that would definitely be really frustrating. You have reached the right place, and I would be more than happy to help in getting to the bottom of this once and for all. I would like to take a closer look at your account to troubleshoot further. To continue, please reply in a DM with your first and last name and service address by following the steps below:

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

 - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

 - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it
