Closed captions

Closed captions are off by several seconds and system is sluggish. How can I improve this. I've already refreshed the system but it didn't help

Good afternoon user_si535! Thank you for reaching out. I appreciate you attempting the refresh. I am more than happy to run some additional troubleshooting to help you get this resolved! I will need some additional information so that I can complete the troubleshooting. 

Please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.

 

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

 

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send it.

how do i enlarge closed captions?

I understand how important accessibility features like closed captions can be, and I want to make sure you have a smooth experience turning them on. To adjust Xfinity closed caption font size, press the Xfinity button on your remote, navigate to Settings (the gear icon), select Accessibility, and then choose Closed Captioning Options to adjust the font size under the "Closed Captioning Settings" or "Caption preferences" menu.
