channels moving to IP

I am a Xfinity TV customer in the Atlanta area. I currently have the economy 100 TV package (no longer offered) with 2 cable cards in TiVO Roamios. For the most part, all is working good. I do know that channels are slowly moving to IP based & won't work with my TiVo.

I may want to upgrade, but is there anywhere to go to figure out which channels have moved to IP based in my area?

So far, IP-only channels are mostly newer channels recently added, or HD versions of some low-viewership networks.

Hi u/mfranch88. All of our cable channels work over coaxial cable, so your TiVo cable cards will still work with it.

That isn't quite correct. Yes, all channels are delivered over coax or fiber optic cable but there are two different methods for carrying channels. Most are in QAM format, but some are "IP channels". A CableCard Tivo works for QAM channels, but cannot tune Comcast's "IP channels".
