Channel that don't play any more

I just notice a few days ago that some channels are not playing any more. The channels are 156, 159, & 166 and all are Screenpix channels. The play fine on line streaming and on the X1 box. But they don't play on the little HD boxes.  When you go to them they show the info box at the bottom. After abot 10 secs the screen just goes black. Is this more channels comcast is taking away from US.

The model is XiD-P. I got those boxes a little over a year ago.  It is only the Screenpix channels. I even tried to re-set them with no luck.

Ok on the bottom of the device it says what I put in my last reply. But the book for the device calls it DTA-HD device.

DTAs only go up to Digital Starter, per this link you need at least Digital Preferred and an X1 box

This my service:

HD Preferred XF Bundle

Includes Digital Preferred With Epix, HD Technology Fee, Performance Pro Internet And Voice Unlimited.

So what you are saying that I need Digital Preferred that I already have. I was watching these channels for months then one they stop playing. Both of the little boxes are HD boxes. They are connected with HDMI cables too.

No, you need to change the DTA boxes to HD boxes, changes were made to Screenpix. DTAs don’t broadcast channels that fall in tiers past Starter

So these are not HD boxes that have HDMI cables connected to them. If I'm wrong The HD In HDMI means is HD right

Right, you’ve called them DTAs and again if they ARE DTAs, if you want to watch ANYTHING above Digital Starter, you have to upgrade to X1 boxes. Screenpix is above Digital Starter. If you think they are actual X1 boxes and not DTAs customer service would have to confirm that they have the proper rate codes attached.

Comcast is a joke sometimes. They give you HD cable boxes. They play those channel for months. Then one day the boxes don't play the channels any more. Because they said you need new HD cable boxes to play those 3 channels.

The funny part that you have a channel when you click it. The channel will ask do want to watch this channel in HD. You click OK and you watching that channel in HD. But wait I have change my boxes to watch those 3 other channels in HD when I watch other channels in HD.

The other thing is that it says all my equipment is up to date too. So now I have to travel over 20 miles to upgrade stuff that is up to date.  Because if I don't I lost another 3 channel because one had hand doesn't know what the other one is doing.
