Hello, @user_3wg036! Thanks for creating a post within our community forum regarding those sound issues on the CBS channel. You've come to a great place for support! Our team is amazing to work with because we'll always do whatever we can to review and resolve issues quickly. I'm not seeing any reports of known issues with that channel, so may I ask what troubleshooting you've tried so far such as a restart of the TV Box or logging in and out of the Xfinity Stream app, depending on which method you're using to watch that channel?
We’ve recently have had troubles with CBS audio also. The show is very low in volume then the ads are super loud. Then there are days we have the opposite happen, the shows audio is loud and the commercials are super low. I’ve also recently noticed a similar problem with NBC. We were watching Seth Myers and his volume was normal but any clips they showed you could not hear.
Thank you for reaching out to us here. I would be happy to look at any service issue from here for you. Are you experiencing that issue on one of our X1 boxes or through a smart TV or streaming box?

Good morning user_ohhyyl. For my home connection I have a sound bar on one TV and the other TV I only use the TV's audio and both are connected with an HDMI cable. Are your connections direct from the X1 cable box to the TV? Are you using any additional audio equipment? Have you noticed that the audio trouble happens at certain times of the day? If you record any programs, have you noticed the issue happening on the recorded shows as well?

we have no soundbar, the sound comes from the tv, the box is directly attached to the TV.
Most of CBS the program is good quality with the commercial very low. Then when the 11 pm news comes on, the news and late night shows are very hard to hear and the commercials are glaring.
CBS shows seem to have good quality sound, most night, with the commercial being supper low. But when the news comes on, and late night show is on, the sound on the shows are very low and then the commercials blast very loudly.
we have no fancy sound systems. The cable box is attached to the TV directly and the sound comes out of the tv.
