I agree. And Comcast is purposefully putting it with channels that don’t have much audience overlap so people are essentially paying $10 for one channel.

That’s my biggest complaint.
It’s not $10 for a selection of animation and/or kids entertainment, it’s not a selection of in depth channels about a variety of sports, it’s not movies channels.
It’s three separate groups of people that are getting the shaft.

I experienced this issue as well but what really angered me was the fact that Comcast did not bother to send out any sort of notification to let it's customers who watch Cartoon Network on a regular basis that the channel would now be apart of a sports package.  I spent nearly 4 hours chatting with 3 customer service representatives so I could add Cartoon Network back into the list of channels I have access to.  Customer service is not what it used to be or for that matter, what it should be; very sad and upset.  If a Comcast customer rep responds to this, I will be interested in reading what their reply will be if any.

I realize this reply is quite late after my post on the forums but anyway.  I appreciate customer service rep saying that any and all channel/package changes/alterations are listed on the bill set to my home via the post office mail as well and an email BUT my question is this: how many people take the time to read all that is printed in a bill?  Time is not always available to do this and information can and does get missed so, my suggestion to Xfinity/Comcast this - send all cable subscribers an individual email informing said subscribers of any/all changes to the channels/packages they currently pay for.

This could in theory, eliminate further such issues for both Comcast customers and Comcast itself.

DaggerDX, Thanks for sharing this valuable feedback. I can definitely understand where you are coming from as a consumer myself, with how an individual email would be very helpful in addition to checking the billing statement online through our website and the XFINITY app. We will make sure to pass along this feedback. What I would like to do from here is review your account to ensure we have you on the best plan available for your household needs. How does this sound?
