Cannot toggle between channels with new VR15 TV Remote

Any TV Remote I've ever owned (including my Xfinity XR2 Remote) had a "Last" button that allowed me to return to the prior channel I was viewing, and also to toggle back and forth between those two channels.

This week I was given a new XR15 Remote (Voice controlled) by an Xfinity technician. A left-pointing white arrow on the remote is identified in the Guide as the "Back" button. When I use that button it presents me with a row of 6-8 channels to choose from, including my previously viewed channel. To go back to the previous channel I have to click on the previous channel number and then find and click on the little (and very difficult to push *)  "Enter" button.

This makes no sense to me. Is there no other way to toggle between two channels ?

* In fact, the Power, A, B, C, D, Enter and the 4 central arrow buttons are all absurdly small and very difficult to push. Ergonomically, this is the worst TV Remote I've ever seen

You don't need to wait for the display at the bottom. The last channel is already selected so just press the Left Arrow then press the Enter/OK button. It took me some time to adjust to the XR15 but now I really like it. The Enter/OK button lights up (circled) but once my muscle memory got trained I don't need to look at it. You can also just hold the microphone button and say "last channel."

One thing I like, is when I'm switching between more than 2 channels (like on football day) just pressing the left arrow, using the left navigation and then pressing enter lets me jump around without messing with channel numbers or the guide.

The Enter button is one of those "nasty to push" buttons----and using two buttons is not toggling is it ?

I will be using the "last channel" short cut, but still that's a step back from toggling. Voice commands are useful but buttons that are hard to push and mostly unlit is not progress

Thanks for your rapid reply.  And I appreciate your giving me the name "navigation" for those four 4 nasty little arrows in a circle (the guide didn't name them)
