cannot move through the guide without the page going back to today

For 2 years I have complained about the guide.  No one will help.  When you click through (xfinity doesn't scroll) all of a sudden the guide will revert to either the current date and time, or the last show you DVR.  This will happen several times each time you want to look for anything.
