BEWARE !! ID CHANNEL AND WETV WATCHERS

Beware exisiting COMCAST XFINITY customers changing their programming as well as new customers, they've eliminated the ID channel and WETV.  They are no longer available.  I wasn't informed prior to changing so I'm stuck without one of the most popular channels.  I'm now looking for a new carrier.  The hunt is on, only have 30 days.

Sorry that was bad advice on my part. It only works if you have the channel lineup already. Which I don't so it didn't work for me either. It only worked for my mom who already had the channel lineup. When my mom upgraded she was able to stream it fine but then after a few days it just disappeared and she had no option to use it anymore. The only way I've been able to stream it actually is through Hulu. And it's not the live channel of course it's just regular streaming.

Me Too!   I got totally TRICKED!  Thought I was changing to a better plan only to find out after the fact that my WETV was somehow "grandfathered" into my old deal.  SO I had it yesterday, but now that I've upgraded my package I CANT GET IT BACK?!?  I am SO ANGRY!!    Where's the scissors...   gonna cut that cord soon!

Yes it does show up and weirdly is still available for old packages but you cannot get it anymore if you sign up newer or you change your package. It's like grandfathered into some old packages.

I live in Delaware, too. And this happened to me last month when I changed my package (2 year promotional period ended). There’s no way to switch back.

Happened to me as well. I emphasized that my channels was not to be touched just repackaged my internet as I was paying extra for speed that was now included in a new package. Instead they took away all my premium channels as well as loosing WeTV. I was so passed. Phone support was such a waste of my time. Finally chat was able to rework some of my channels. She said that they are trying to renegotiate getting back WeTv within the package

We got tired of playing such a high bill so we downgraded last week, not knowing my mom’s favorite channel, The ID Channel would disappear and she can’t get it back. We also watch a show on WE TV which disappeared but my mom checked yesterday and WE TV was back! ID has an app but it’s useless without a cable subscription.

WE TV is finally added back! Yayyyy! I changed packages back in November, the Rep informed me the change would result in channel loss. Which was a bummer but that high price I was paying had to go. But as of today 3/26/20, it's back in rotation!!

I was told by a representative that the ID channel is now only offered in TV only plans. Not double or triple plays. If you go online and look at the plans it has a tab for internet and tv with a list of channels and a tab for tv only with a list of channels.

I too am thrilled that WE tv is back, but I know that Xfinity is offering some free premium channels during the virus outbreak .  Can’t find it on the  list so hoping it stays. 🤞

Anyone found a way to watch ID tv live? ID is my favorite Channel and when I renewed my contract with Xfinity it was no longer available,  I am so irritated! I don't want to stream it if I don't have to I want to watch it live. Is there any way to do that without Xfinity? When I talk to the Xfinity customer service  person they explained I would have to add it all a cart with was another $70 a month ridiculous. Thanks

No that's not true. You still will not get it because Xfinity does not have a contract with ID channel anymore. I know because I was dumb enough to get a much more expensive package which I was told that it would be on and it was not. And when I contacted several people through Xfinity they all said the same thing. There is no way of getting that channel because Xfinity does not offer it. And you can't even stream it I've tried through Roku and everything. And it says if your service provider doesn't offer the channel you cannot stream it even through Roku or IDGO. If you go on idgo to stream it there are very few things you could actually stream. Most things are locked. And if you try to stream on demand it will charge you quite a bit per episode. In some cases you can buy the whole season but it's shocking

You can get it live through Sling TV at $30 a month and $20 the first month.
