Bally Sports

One of the main reasons I subscribe and pay an ungodly bill to these sharks is to have access to Bally Sports for Grizzlies, Preds and whenever the Cubs play the Braves. This is terrible for us consumers. I’ve been a longtime customer of Xfinity but maybe it is time to go elsewhere where we can actually access our sports?

user_rbsulh We pay networks and station owners for the ability to deliver their programming to our customers. We negotiate agreements to bring our customers the best value for the content they want. Unfortunately, our programming agreement with DSG has expired. We have made a number of reasonable offers that DSG hasn't accepted. This means we no longer have the right to carry their channels, including your local Bally Sports network. The loss of this channel will result in savings that we’ll pass along to you, and you’ll see an automatic credit in your bill in the coming weeks. Great sports programming, including NBA, NHL, and MLB national coverage, is still available with Xfinity. Just say “Sports” into your Xfinity Voice Remote to explore your options. You can also press “C” on your Xfinity Voice Remote to go to Sports Zone and see available sports content. Nationally televised games will continue to be carried by TBS, FOX, CBS, FS1, MAX, ESPN and Apple TV. Check your local listings for upcoming games or contests.

Totally false. I ONLY added the sports package (that was waaay overpriced…) to get access to Bally. I was given NO notice, and cancelled the sports package as soon as I realized it was gone. I highly doubt y’all will give me that ridiculously shitty $20 credit, since I cancelled. “Nationally” televised games are an at MOST weekly artifact of a handful of channels, and cater mostly to the largest markets. You tried to take advantage of Bally’s bankruptcy to lowball them, and instead have screwed over all your customers paying for that coverage. You basically have NO baseball coverage without Bally, and MAYBE would have been smarter if you’d done this in the off season.
