Bad reception for Bally Sports

Screen picture freezes looking like a Minecraft screen with blocks freezing. Can’t watch Detroit atigers

Hi there, user_9c6950! I apologize that the game has been freezing up. Our Xfinity app has some awesome troubleshooting help! It will go through steps to check the service and wiring and send signals to your equipment. It has saved me more than once!

Do you watch on a cable box or using the Xfinity Stream app?

What troubleshooting steps have you taken so far?

Cable box. Restarted cable box, checked connections. Tv using Roku gets Bally sports just fine.

Thank you for taking those steps and letting me know, user_9c6950. Have you tried the System Refresh signal? You can find that by saying "System Refresh" to the voice remote or by pressing "A" then going to the right to the System Refresh button. A lot of times pixelation is caused by a poor signal to our systems. The System Refresh resets your connection back into our systems.

If that doesn't help, please send us a direct message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the direct messaging icon located at the top right of this forums page.

Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:
• Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send your message

I'm having unacceptable reception issues with Bally's Sports Channel

user_6hndef thanks for using the Community Forums page. Reception issues are certainly less than ideal, but you are in the right place to get it resolved. Is this the only network that the issue seems to be occurring on?

This is an issue between Bally and Comcast, trust me. I have tried going over and over (and over) this with their Chat and on the phone. No one has been of any help or seems to understand the issue. In our case, Bally only stops working when Braves games play, and we have the highest Premium Tier plan. We will likely be cancelling our service after seven years because of this. We have been consistently lord to, disconnected from conversations, spent hours on chat and phone with zero solutions. We are SO done with Comcast and their awful customer service.
