Audio issues with 4k broadcasts

For several years now and after trying several 4k wireless cable boxes, I almost always have intermittent audio issues when watching a 4k broadcast ( sports). It used to be less of an issue because Xfinity always had a non 4k channel which worked perfectly but for instance on MLB playoffs today it’s either 4k or Peacock no non 4k channels
