Are you working on getting a deal done with the Minnesota Wild?

Why am I paying a regional sports fee when I can't even watch any regional sports?  This sounds like it could be a lawsuit.

Why am I paying a regional sports fee when I literally don't have access to any local sports teams?  I will be looking into this and see if I should pursue legal action.

Thanks for reaching out to us, The Xfinity Regional Sports Fee covers local and regional sports networks included with your Xfinity TV plan, which would be included in any of our 125+ channel or and up TV plans or the or Sports & News TV lineup.

 

As of October 2026, there is no carriage agreement between Comcast Xfinity and the Minnesota Wild's new Wild+ network

I hear that this deal isn't being done because of Xfinity.  Why can't you come to an agreement?

user_b2qqln, as programming costs rise, we sometimes have to make difficult decisions about what we're able to offer. At this time, Xfinity does not have an agreement to carry the Minnesota Wild’s local game broadcasts. If this changes, that communication will be sent out to customers. From the stories I read and from statements by the Wild and the NHL, they are saying Xfinity is getting too greedy.  I already went to the higher sports package last year so I could watch the Wild and Wolves, now you want us to pay even more?
