To access Apple TV+ now, without waiting to see if/when Xfinity will provide an app to access it, I bought a Fire TV Stick 4K for $25 at Amazon. That works fine.

CCAndrew has given you the best answer there is at the moment. If a deal is being discussed it's not available to the employees that work here. When and if a deal is reached then an announcement will be made to the media. Right now, there is no further information to be given.
Ok I'm stupid. I believed the Xfinity sales rep that just signed me up for a 1 year contract for Xfinity Stream with my internet service. I would LOVE for an Xfinity employee to pull up the recording (system said the call would be recorded) of my conversation, where I EXPLICITY asked the person if it worked on Apple TV, as I have 4 of them. So we went through channel line-ups etc., and still I asked to confirm the device compatibility and she said it worked on all Apple devices.
So as I now check on the App Store, to my surpise there was NO APP. And now found this and other threads on the topic here on xfinity forums.
Now I'm a royally TICKED OFF customer. Hope you like that! I'm sure to give out reviews to people that ask, and others that I speak to that drift to provider conversations.
I'm been lied to, and in my mind had money stolen from me because my service does NOT do what I paid and verified on the phone to have it do.
And to add to the insult, they said they have beta support for LG and Samsung Smart TV’s. I have 2 Samsung and 2 LG’s one of each being 4K that are about 1.5 years old. None of them are supported by the ‘short list’ of hardware they support. Guess Xfinity wants me to take 4 large screen TV’s and 4 Apple TV’s to the curb? It’s much easier to take the single Xfinity modem. They don’t get it, even the little guys look Philo, Hulu support a wide array of hardware. You would think that the mega-corporation could do that and much more. Poor management......
xfinity has added Paramount + but I subscribe through ATV+ 'channels' - I'd sure like to be able to use my X1 device to view Paramount+. Xfinity has ignored my question several times. Relaunched their forum and I still ain't heard from xfinity. What's up?

The Xfinity Stream app is available on Apple. I have it installed on both my iPhone and iPad.
