AMC no Dolby Digital

Trying to find out if I'm the only person that is not getting Dolby Digital on AMC. I've tried multiple channels, like 229 and 856 for example. I'm about 35 miles north of Atlanta. It's the same live, recorded, or on demand.

I only have one A/V receiver, so I can't compare multiple surround sound systems, but I tried an XG1v4 and XiD on it. I've tried Auto Detect and Expert audio settings. I get Dolby Digital on all other channels that support it.

I'm guessing it started a month or two ago. I first noticed while watching Walking Dead shows. I'm getting nowhere with Twitter customer care, though they're trying to help. I figure this has to be something in the feed from AMC to Comcast or Comcast to us. Would love confirmation from others and help from support here, if they see it. Thanks.

The vocal portion of the audio is super low when I try and access AMC programming on-demand. Makes shows completely unwatchable.

That's how it is for me as well when only getting 2 channel stereo. It's one of the reasons I noticed (besides of course my receiver telling me so). It was fine before this broke when I was getting it in Dolby Digital.

No, you're not the only one. Its been like this for months here outside Philadelphia, only DD LTRT on AMC and at a very low volume (except during commercials of course). Unwatchable. A few other channels that were in DD5.1 also are not now. Does not suprise me at all that no one from Comcast has responded to this issue, but that exorbitant bill still shows up every month doesn't it? (And they wonder why they are losing badly to streaming services lol) What a friggin joke of a company.

Hi everyone! Thank you for making us aware of the audio complications. We will definitely pass this information along. Are you noticing this happen on any other network, or is the issue specific to AMC?

It's only AMC and my best guess it started in October. Thanks.
