AcornTV - Vera season 2 missing episodes on Xfinity box
We pay for AcornTV. When we try to watch Vera, s2 episode 2, we are asked to pay for it on the X1 platform.
I also noted that Vera episodes 2 through 4 are not on the X1 platform unless I am willing to pay for them. I checked as streaming and I can see them but why would I not watch on a big screen when I pay for it on the X1 (TV sized screen)?

When you purchased the Acorn TV subscription, did you do so through Comcast? I only ask because the Acorn TV On Demand content on your Comcast TV box is only available if the Acorn TV service is being purchased from Comcast. Your option is to use a third-party device (i.e. Roku, Amazon Firestick, Smart TV) to access the Acorn TV App to watch through your tv -or- cancel your Acorn TV subscription with Acorn and add it to your Comcast account (you can do this here https://www.xfinity.com/learn/digital-cable-tv/svod/acorntv) so you can watch Acorn TV programming on your Comcast TV box.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
Yes, we purchased Acorn through Comcast. The X1 platform was the easiest to use. We have watched Brokenwood, Murdock and several others during the pandemic. We watched season 1 of Vera and started season 2 when we found out we were asked to purchase episode 2 of season 2.
Thanks,
Joel
