Add me to the list of customers who are very disappointed. The ACC basketball season has begun and there is no chance to watch the games because Xfinity does not offer the channel. TYPICAL!
Who are you? You must work for Xfinity and are paid to dismiss us who want Xfinity to come to an agreement. It's all about the money and that's why I'm sure. I have no doubt that a very large number of Xfinity customers would watch on their TVs if they would add it. No, quit saying it's ESPN/Disney's fault as your go-to answer.
While we have no plans to launch the ACC Network now, we regularly evaluate our channel lineups as our customers' interests change and make changes that we think will add more value to their Xfinity services.
We have to pay for almost every channel we carry, including new networks that we may launch - not the other way around. As a result, we're careful about adding channels that could increase customers’ bills due to the fees charged by the owners of the channels. These fees may not reflect an appropriate value for our customers, but we try to make agreements that will give our customers the content they want at a price that is reasonable.
You can still watch some ACC games on channels like the ESPN networks, FOX Sports, FS1, and CBS Sports via the Xfinity X1 and Stream Sports guides. Just search for "Sports" or say "Sports" into your Xfinity Voice Remote.
I understand your frustrations @billmich88888. At this time, this is the work around we do offer our customers since we do not carry the ACC network. Thank you again for understanding.
@XfinitySelena I agree with the other comments. The games are not interchangeable. And it's not a "workaround" to watch the few games that are broadcast on ESPN etc. and miss the others.
E.g., if you want to watch Duke basketball during Coach K's final season, Wake Forest or UNC is not a substitute.
I personally pay hundreds of dollars per month to Comcast, including a premium for the "sports package"... Now you are saying that I have to spend $70+ to subscribe to another service so I can watch ACCN?
Maybe I should just drop Comcast and instead subscribe to a service that has ACC Network? IE why am I paying you $3000/year in subscription fees when you are telling me that I have to pay another $70+ per month to be able to watch Duke Basketball during Coach K's last season? That is outrageous. Why do you deserve my money?

Hello all. While we have no plans to launch the channel now, we regularly evaluate our channel lineups as our customers' interests change and make changes that we think will add more value to their Xfinity services.

For games carried exclusively by the ACC Network, you can watch using online streaming platforms like YouTube TV, Hulu Plus Live TV and Sling Orange Plus Sports Extra.
