ABC affiliate no longer available
Our household has been watching ABC/WXYZ channel 7 for over 30 years , my wife specifically watches GMA and our local news coverage. To suddenly not have access to LIVE broadcasts through our Xfinity account is not acceptable. Please return the ABC channel to your available channels. Thank you for putting your attention to this concern.

I wholeheartedly agree!! I have watched this station for years and can't stand the other options. All customers should be given decrease in their bill because we do not have the same service we have paid for!! I am ready to change to another cable company if this is not fixed quickly!!

Part of my contract stated that I would have access to abc. Since I am not getting this, I should be able to cancel my contract with xfinity, correct?

I have been a long time Xfinity costumer and I am getting pretty sick of channels disappearing, even for short periods of time. Local channels should never be affected in my opinion, especially since we pay for cable and are not supposed to be paying for local. I pay way too much money for this to be happening. And as much as I would love to believe contract issues and not wanting to raise prices for costumers.....I just don't fully believe that. If the cost for costumers was a concern, we wouldn't be paying near as much as we do, especially since there are so many other services that offer the same thing for a third of the cost. My household prefers comcast/Xfinity over others, which is why I am still a costumer. A lot of the shows I enjoy watching seem to always be on the channels that go away. My household and I would really appreciate the return of ABC and the affiliate channels. Please make this happen! Also, will any of your costumers be credited for the loss of major channel?

If xfinity raises your prices constantly and can't afford ABC contract perhaps it's time to leave. Or hire new contract lawyers or CEOs or push your board members out.

We are moving to YouTube TV if this doesn't get resolved soon. It is not OK for all the major networks to NOT be provided on your basic TV package. Get your act together!!!
