A big problem.

I recently added TV service to my account . I have the 200+ channels and the gig service using my own modem because the xfinity gateway even with xpods won’t cover my house in usable WiFi.

With the TV installation came a problem with wiring . The technician ended up using your wireless boxes with my router .

What has happened is my internet usage has sky rocketed well over the 1.2 TB allocated .

In addition I made a change in package to remove hbo and add Netflix . Even working with a rep , you guys sent me an additional 4 boxes , so now I’m being billed for 8 total boxes , even though I rejected the UPS delivery at the suggestion of customer service.

This is a mess , from top to bottom and I need help.

The same thing happened to me a few months ago.

How close is the nearest Comcast office? You may have to bring the boxes back to an office yourself. If you do, make absolutely sure you get a receipt that lists the ID numbers of the boxes you returned.

Also, I was charged for a full month for the extra boxes; I sent a message back to Comcast, and eventually got the additional charge refunded, but it took a couple of months.

You upgrade to Gig internet.  You're now using more data.  When you added cable service were you put on the X1 platform?  Do you do any streaming?  All of that adds to the amount of data you use.

If you're interested in upgrading to the truly Unlimited Data plan, I can help with that.

Are the boxes you rejected showing up on your bill?

In 9 days this box has used 200GB alone ... if he would have wired in a regular boxes I would have no data used as we are not using any sort of on demand or streaming services , we are watching strictly broadcast TV.

No I’ve always had gig internet .. I added TV service and the installer didn’t want to run wires so he used wireless boxes . So I’m paying for internet and regular TV service in addition to being charged for the data the wireless boxes are using .

I’m paying for the 200 channel package, 4 boxes including DVR service for around $200 a month . Plus since they aren’t regular cable boxes my data has skyrocketed from a typical 400 GB a month to 2700 GB a month .
