XFINITY CANCELLATION FEE
When I signed up xfinity there was no clear explanation of an early termination fee neither was there when I went to cancel my service due to moving. I’ve been with xfinity for almost 7 years and was going to use them in the area I was relocating to but they didn’t offer the service in that area. I was blindly billed a $230 termination fee. During the xfinity cancellation process they never mentioned there was a termination fee of $230 and when I called to dispute the cancellation fee, the reps were not understanding and pointed the finger at me for not knowing. I will never recommend this scamming service to anyone.

This Agreement will remain in effect from Service activation until this Agreement is terminated (by us or by you), as described below. This Agreement may also be terminated if it is replaced by a revised agreement.
a. How you may terminate
If your Services are subject to a minimum term agreement, and you terminate all or any portion of the Services under the minimum term agreement before the end of the minimum term, you may be charged an early termination fee. Review your minimum term agreement for additional details.
If your Services are not subject to a minimum term agreement, you may terminate the Services and this Agreement for any reason at any time.
