Hi! Thank you for addressing this concern regarding the $25.00 charge for X-Fi Complete through our Xfintiy Support Community. I would personally be asking questions about a charge I was not familiar with as well and we will make sure you are comfortable with this cost and service. If you are not comfortable with it, we will work with you to remove it and make it right. You came to the right place!
Let me go over what X-Fi Complete is and what it offers to see if that sounds correct to you. If not, we will move this to a direct message so we can address your billing through your actual account.
X-Fi Complete is a bundle promotion with tons of value for internet users. It bundles unlimited data ($30.00) with our Xfinity gateway lease ($14.00) for a discounted $25.00 a month. Unlimited data is not a required addition but the lease for the Xfinity Gateway is unless you have your own personal modem to use instead.
What makes the X-Fi Complete bundle even move valuable is that it is intended to optimize your in-home connection. There is a wireless assessment built in that recognizes any “dead spots” or poor signal areas in your home. For example, larger homes may not have the best coverage in further parts of the house. If that registers, we send you free a X-Fi pod to create a mesh network and improve your connection. That’s a $119.00 value in of itself.
