Wrong Auto Payment

Hi,

I tried to put my new bank account on file as it charged my old account. The account cleared despite it being closed. I'm hoping I can get this reversed to put the correct account to avoid facing misc. charges.

Thanks!

Hello, @user_nu9isr it's surprising that the payment went through on a closed account. Have you contacted your financial institution to make sure it has really cleared and avoid any penalties? To manage your saved payment methods with Xfinity, you can do so online or via the Xfinity app.

Online Steps:

  1. Sign in to your account.
  2. Go to Bill Settings and select Payment Methods.
  3. Add, edit, or remove payment methods.
  4. Confirm your identity if adding a new method.
  5. Enter your details and save.

App Steps:

  1. Log in to the Xfinity app.
  2. Tap Account, then Bill details.
  3. Select Bill settings and Payment methods to manage your options.

You will receive a confirmation message after changes.

Will I need to redo the payment? It shows my balance as $0.

user_nu9isr Great question! Since the balance is showing zero, you wont be able to amke another payment. We can take a look to see if it went though on our end.
