With ACP now ended, I need to downgrade my Internet plan. Can someone arrange to change my plan at the start of my next billing cycle?

I'm currently on the 500 Mbps plan and am considering a downgrade to 300 Mbps, unless there any other compelling offers between $25-$35 a month. My next billing cycle starts in about two weeks. May someone help me out? Thank you.

Hey cam1229, thanks for reaching out to Xfinity Support on our forums. With the ACP program, Xfinity set it up where an customer that is part of the ACP program can switch to our low cost internet service called Internet Essentials. Currently the 100 mbps internet is $29.95. Their website here, has lots of great information on the program and is where you can sign up.

This is not what I asked for. I indicated that I'm interested in the 300 plan or better. I also need someone to coordinate the plan change to coincide with my next billing cycle. I've had this kind of help a few years ago on Reddit's Xfinity subreddit. I wanted to try here first, but I may have to ask on Reddit instead.

cam1229 I apologize for the confusion, you also mentioned "unless there any other compelling offers between $25-$35 a month." which that program is and is related to ACP. We can certainly help go over other options. Just so you know, we are the same team that handles Reddit so it's just more about which platform you prefer to use. When you get a chance, can you send us a direct message so I can?

To send a direct message:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Click the "Direct messaging" icon near the top right of the page

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

• Press Enter to send it

@cam1229

Just an FYI, the employees that work at Reddit are the same ones that work here, the only difference is here their names start with Xfinity and there they start with CC.

I am not a Comcast Employee.
