Okay so I was late on wifi bill for like 2 months and my wifi slowed down, i just paid it right now and im wondering how long will it take to go back to normal

We greatly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience regarding the Xfinity Services and more particularly the Xfinity Internet connectivity. I would be more than happy to offer my assistance looking into this further for you.

 

With the account being behind on payments, we do not slow down, throttle, or effect the services in any way. We only suspend the account completely, so if you are experiencing service and speed issues, that could be something with the services.

 

Do you happen to have an Xfinity xFi Gateway or use a personal modem to access the Xfinity Internet subscription? If you have an Xfinity xFi Gateway, could you please open the Xfinity App, select WiFi tab, then select the Troubleshooting button to perform a quick Whole Home Network Test to see if the Xfinity Assistant is able to find an issue? Please provide us with an update on the Xfinity Internet speed test that gets performed.
