Why auto pay credit less this month

I have been on autopay for over a year and receiving a $5.00 discount for credit card billing on monthly.  My statement for January, reflects the increase in rates but it also shows a decrease in autopay credit down to $2.00??  Why the decrease?

Hey @user_mvc8y5, Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. We greatly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience regarding the recent rate increases. Along with our some price adjustments, our Automatic Payment and Paperless Billing (APPD) Self-Service Discount also experienced some changes.

The Automatic Payment and Paperless Billing (APPD) Self-Service Discount was reduced from $5.00 per month to $2.00 per month for credit/debit card payments. This resulted in a $3.00 per month change.

Our Automatic Payment and Paperless Billing (APPD) Self-Service Discount when using a checking/savings account is still at a $10.00 monthly savings if you wish to make any updates to your payment method. You can find steps on how to set up automatic payments by visiting our 'Set up or turn off automatic payments in your account' support page.
