When I try to change the billing date, it tells me something went wrong. Why?

I didn't even select the 29th, 30th, or 31st either. I really need this to change or I'll be in debt forever...

Hi there, @user_4xx71g. Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Community Forum. Just to confirm, are you logged in with your primary XFINITY ID when you attempt to change the billing date?

I only have one account so I assume I am. How do I know if its the primary account?

@user_4xx71g that's a great question. The Xfinity ID will be set with a specific designation (Primary, Manager, User). Here is a helpful article that will outline what each user role does and how to distinguish between them: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/primary-and-secondary-accounts

Yeah so I checked the app and the one logged into the app at least is primary. I don't know if this account is the same as that one but I'm using the app to change the billing date anyway so probably doesn't matter

@user_4xx71g thanks for letting me know you're using the Xfinity App to attempt the changes, and that may be why it's not able to perform the task. Reviewing the due date change article, it is mentioning doing this process when logging in directly on the website: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/due-date-change

- Hae you attempted the changes there as well, and if so do you get the same "something went wrong message"?

I'm not entirely sure how to do that. I spent some time trying to find a way to even view my bill on the website but I can't

It keeps happening to me too!!! I don't have any previous balance. I have tried the app and website. It's very frustrating because error messages happen ALL the time!!!!!!
