Was charged an extra $40 with no notification of why

Hello,

I'm hoping to get some help with an issue on my recent bill. My monthly rate has unexpectedly increased by $40, from my usual rate of around $85 to $125. I did not upgrade my plan or make any changes to my services, nor did I receive any notification about an increase in the cost of my current plan.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice on how to get this resolved would be greatly appreciated. I'm looking for the best way to contact customer support to dispute this charge and understand why it happened.

user_jwi11 if I noticed a bill increase, I’d want answers too. Typically, when a promotional rate expires, the price adjusts accordingly. You can find the start and end dates of any promotions right in the bill details, which serve as a monthly reminder. That said, I’d be happy to review your account to confirm exactly why your bill went up and check if there are any new offers you might qualify for. Our team is here for you. How to Send Us a Direct Message:

  1. Click "Sign In" if necessary.
  2. Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or visit Xfinity Direct Messaging.
  3. Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon.
  4. In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support".
  5. As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
  6. An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.
  7. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
  8. Press Enter to send it.
