Unreturned TV Box Fee
I have been getting charged for almost 3 years on an unreturned TV box fee related to my personal residence? I cancelled television services at my home 3 years ago and the tech took my box with him. Why am I getting this charge? It went from $2 to now $10 a month. This is nuts. I have paid $209 in unreturned TV box fees.
I tried to call Xfinity today and cancel but tech support couldn't help. They just gave me ref # CR073866772 and told me to call billing? I am a small business owner and I use Xfinity at my place of business as well as my home. Why is Xfinity treating me this way and charging me for this unreturned TV box? Do I have to cancel my service? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I want to thank one of those great experts @MNtundraRET for bringing this over to the Customer Service Board for greater visabilty, to allow my great team to help quickly.
I can see how it would be frustrating to get charged for a piece of equipment that was returned and I want to get to the bottom of this with you. I also want to mention how important it is to contact us as quickly as possible if you notice an issue with their bill. This will allow us to get it fixed promptly.
Please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.
Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:
• Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send your message
