Unexpected Increase in Internet Price from $40.99 to $100.99

Last year, I signed up for a 1,000 Mbps Xfinity Internet plan at $40.99/month. After one year, my monthly price suddenly increased to $100.99.

I was not aware that the price would increase this significantly, and I did not receive any advance notice about the change.

I’m very disappointed with this unexpected increase and cannot justify paying $100.99/month for internet service. I’m willing to consider a slower plan if necessary, but I would like to find an option that brings my monthly bill back closer to $40.

Could someone from Xfinity please review my account and help me find a reasonable solution? Thank you.

Thank you for reaching out and explaining the situation. We understand how frustrating it can be to see your monthly Internet cost increase from $40.99 to $100.99. We’d be happy to review your account and check the available plan and pricing options. We can also look at lower-speed plans if that helps bring your monthly cost closer to the $40 range.

Can you please send us a direct message with your full name and service address so we can take a closer look?

How to send us a direct message:

- Click “Sign In” if necessary.
- Click the “Direct Messaging” icon.
- Click the “Start new conversation” icon, which looks like a pencil and paper.
- In the “To:” line, type “Xfinity Support.”
- As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select “Xfinity Support” from that list.
- An “Xfinity Support” graphic will replace the “To:” line.
- Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
- Press Enter to send it.

Talk to you there!
