Two Cut Sprinkler Lines - Never Resolved

I signed up for service the day I moved into my new home on June 27, 2026.

In July Xfinity's contractor came out to bury the wire and dug through two of my sprinkler lines in the zone that runs the sprinklers in front and side of my home.

On July 20th I submitted a damage claim and received verification of the claim. I provided pictures of the damage.

After a few phone calls and chats, I got confirmation that someone was coming out to look at and repair my sprinkler line. I waited at home (took off work) to great the technician. However, technician never showed.  I contacted Xfinity and was told there were notes in the file about the appointment but nothing was actually scheduled.

Several phone calls and chats later (we're talking over a dozen) i eventually realized I needed to get the sprinklers fixed myself to mitigate damages (my grass in that section was brown at this point). I paid my lawn service $200 to fix the sprinklers and provided the paid invoice and photos of the fix.

Dozens (not exaggerating) of interactions later and I have no resolve on this. On 5 different occasions I was told the refund was on its way and would show up in a certain amount of days (next 5 business; next billing cycle; etc.)

All of this was occuring while I was also trying to get my bill correct on monthly charges. I had signed up for the $50 5 year rate but was getting charged $70. That was finally resolved, however, I still haven't received any refund for the $200 of sprinkler damage.

On October 15th I received email that my claim was resolved. I contacted customer service yet again because I have had no reimbursement for the $200 .  When I spoke with them I was told $200 would be deposited into my Xfinity account on October 26th.  Guess what. It's the 29th and still no deposit. This company has robbed my hours of my time and money.  I've been extremely kind and level headed through this whole ordeal, but I really don't know why, this company does not seem to care about it's customers.
