Transfer account to roommate
I am about to move and would like to transfer my service out of my name to my roommate who is remaining. There are some posts on here from a few years back that say to use the Bereavement form for this process, but I'm just curious if that is still the best way to do this.

The process of changing the account from your name to a roommates name is called a transfer of ownership. The process can be started by us here, with us gathering information from you and providing an email to upload forms needed for the process. This can also be done at the local Xfinity store. If you would like to do it online, we can assist. Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address?
To send a direct message:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message chat" icon
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window, please add your full name and address
• Press Enter to send it
