This is got to end!!
New costs without antivirus protection is SHAMELESS! I can't bring my Laptop off XFINITY's network without protection ANYwhere?
DEFINITELY GOING TO Verzizon FIOS.
You guys are terrible now. Been a faithful customer for 30+ years.
Really disappointed now.
They offer more channels faster internet for so much less!!!!!

@ComcastJosephB: Comcast does a terrible disservice to its customers when it suggests that xFi Advanced Security can fully take the place of an actual antivirus program like Norton AV, as that claim is simply incorrect. For example, Advanced Security cannot detect threats that arrive in encrypted ("https") data streams. Only software running on the customer's computer or mobile device where the stream is decrypted can do that.
Taking away customer AV protection was bad enough. Misleading customers about their vulnerability to malware is even worse.
