Switching to Xfinity mobile and promised discounts and internet speeds

I recently switched to Xfinity mobile in addition to continuing Xfinity internet and home security services.

 

I was told the following:

 

Mobile $60:

$60 for 2 mobile lines (no phone insurance or protection plan included)

 

Internet and Home security $87:

$107 for internet ($82) and home security ($50) with a $25 reduction for multiple products. 

$20 reduction for switching to mobile service for 24 months.

 

Grand total $147 + tax ($87 + tax for internet and home security +$60 for mobile).

 

2 $200 visa cards. One has been applied for but I have not information on how to acquire the 2nd card.

 

Problem #1:

I was told that my previous internet speed of 800 Mbps would increase to 1,200 Mbps with this new service, along with a lower price.  In actuality, I did sign the contract which states: Connect More Internet Download speeds up to 800 mbps; upload speeds up to 100 Mbps. I have now come to understand that Connect More is 200mbps. My speed is now 200 Mbps.

 

Problem #2:

My additional discount of $20 was not applied to my bill. After spending hours on the phone, a credit was applied, but I am not sure if that will continue monthly or was a onetime adjustment. I need verification. 

 

Additional inquiry: How to receive the 2nd $200 visa card

 

Overall I am very frustrated by the fact that I feel that I was misled. Any discussions with the approximately 10 people I have spoken with end up with them quoting higher rates in order to receive the internet product that I had been promised.

 

Of course, I do not have a recording of what was told to me, and I did sign a contract that said Connect More indicating speeds up to 800 mbps. However, I was not aware that Connect More was not what I had agreed to. 

 

Please advise.

Hello @user_67fd43 it is definitley concerning to hear of the issues you have been running into with your speeds and the plan change made. I can confirm our Connect More speeds does provide speeds of 200mbps down and 10mbps up, so the agreement should not have stated other speeds if this was the option being added to your account.
