Request for Immediate Resolution of Overcharging Issue account [Edited]
Dear Xfinity Customer Service,
I am writing to formally address a long-standing issue regarding my billing account. For years now, I have been paying for two cable boxes and remotes, despite repeated assurances from your customer service agents that this matter would be resolved.
My rental is a 560-square-foot condominium, which clearly does not require two cable boxes. I am certain this is a mistake, as there is no practical reason or physical setup in my home to justify this charge. Despite multiple conversations with your representatives, the issue persists, and my card continues to be charged monthly for this unnecessary equipment.
I request that you:
- Immediately rectify this error by adjusting my account to reflect a single cable box and remote.
- Reimburse me for all overcharges incurred due to this error.
- Provide confirmation in writing that this matter has been resolved and will not occur again.
I expect this issue to be resolved asap. If it is not addressed promptly, I will be left with no choice but to explore additional avenues, including filing a formal complaint with the relevant consumer protection authorities.
I have been a loyal Xfinity customer with multiple accounts, and it is disappointing to have to escalate a matter that should have been resolved long ago. I trust you will take the necessary steps to address this promptly.
