Request credit for outage

Due to the storm I was out 2/16 and most of 2/17 trying to see if I can receive a credit of some sort for this.

Hello, @Jasongainzh and thank you for reaching out to us on Xfinity Forums! I am sorry to hear you were impacted by these crazy winter storms! I hope you and your loved ones are safe.


We do not issue credits due to power interruptions. 


For customers who are evacuated and/or unable to return to their homes for an extended period of time, they have the option to temporarily discount service but retain access to Xfinity services (via mobile apps).
Please send us a message if you would like to explore this option.

And yet, hundreds of posts by other employees suggest otherwise. Are they wrong, or are you wrong? Are you sure that Comcast's distribution equipment continues to operate during a power outage? Quite sure??
