Regional Sports Fee and BLOCKING Boston College football games.

People who live in towns that have made the decision to use Comcast have shut down all college football games from New England. There is only one on the national stage and that is Boston College. I think we should use a provider that doesn't censore Free Speech TV too. You are pathetic to charge that fee and then not carry the only college sports team. we dont care about Michigan and Kentucky. They are not regional. I did not go to school there. This issues should be litigated and Comcast shuld reimburse that fee to all BC fans. I really do not get it. There is one sports school and Comcast not only FAILS to carry most of these games. Comcast actually BLOCKS us from watching -

if we are part of the unlucky towns that use your monopoly services. No choice and this is HUGE!!!@!

So you’re referring to them not carrying the ACC network? Would’ve helped in the original post. There’s no agreement between the two, nothing to do with censorship

It’s the league that sets the rules not Comcast. Your anger is pointed in the wrong direction

@regionalsports  just to add some additional context:

Our content and programming teams are in regular contact with ESPN (owner and operator of the ACC Network) on many topics, including this network.

The Comcast programming teams and local management teams constantly evaluate programming choices and make decisions based on customer interests, costs, channel bandwidth management and contractual obligations.

As with any network contract, we want to come to an agreement that offers the best terms for our customers and our company that keeps both our costs and our customer's monthly costs to a minimum.

Situations may change based on customer demand, channel bandwidth opportunities, business opportunities, costs and contractual obligations. Thanks for your feedback.

Unfortunately, you are not able to subscribe to ACCN/ACCNX directly or via ESPN+. Your pay TV provider needs to have an agreement in place to carry ACCN - that's a restriction placed by ESPN.
