Promotion not being honored

I signed up in January 2025 for new Xfinity internet service that included a $40/month discount if I also signed up for Xfinity mobile. Meanwhile, a concurrent promotion offered free Unlimited mobile for a year with any internet package. I was assured that both promotions were valid by two different customer service agents.

The internet discount has never been applied. When I received my January bill, there was no mention of it so I called to complain. They said to wait up to 45 days. When I received my February bill, it had the following message at the Important information about your Gigabit promotional discount: Your one-year $40/mo Xfinity Internet discount is reflected on your Xfinity Mobile billing statement. You can view your bill anytime at customer.xfinity.com/billing." However, no such discount came up on my mobile bill. I continued to review my bills each month. The same message appeared on my March internet bill; nothing on my mobile bill. I tried to initiate a resolution over chat but kept getting kicked out and never received any follow up, even after indicating in the surveys that my issue was not resolved. 

In April, the message changed to "Important information about your Unlimited 5G Mobile Line: Your Internet service includes an Unlimited 5G mobile line for 1 year, which is reflected on your Xfinity Mobile bill. You can view your bill anytime at customer.xfinity.com/billing." But no more mention of my internet discount. In May, I stopped having any messages like this on my bills, but have never once gotten the $25/month internet I was promised when I signed up. Xfinity now owes me $440 on the year, $480 if they don't fix it for December.

I have just discovered these forums as a means to obtain a resolution. Please enable Direct Messaging for me.

  4. In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support".
  5. As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
  6. An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.
  7. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
  8. Press Enter to send it.
