Hi, this is Comcast Xfinity calling. Our bill Our billing system indicates that you're 50% discount on monthly bill is being terminated today. This action is final unless we receive your immediate response. Please call back on the number showing on your caller ID to maintain your current rate thank you

I just received the same message. I actually called the number and they offered to cut my rate in half to $25 a month. The catch was that I had to pay two years in advance. I hung up.

Hello @user_y0flgo you did the absolute best thing by hanging up. Those calls are 100% fraud. I thank you for sharing your experience with the platform.

Obviously Comcast has done NOTHING to stop this scam, I just received the same call today (10/27/25) from a phone number [Edited: "Malicious Phone Number"] ( West Warwick, RI), did not answer since I know no one in RI, let it go to voicemail and was left the exact same message: 

“Hi, this is Comcast Xfinity. Our billing system indicates that you're 50% discount on your monthly bill is being terminated today. This action will be final unless we receive your immediate response. Please call us back at the number shown on your caller ID right away to maintain your current rate thank you.…”

[Edited: "Malicious Phone Number"] is the number they left me the message from. I called them to see how they are doing what they claim and what they are trying to get people to do. This is what I found out. They are trying to get a yrs worth of payments upfront by guaranteeing a 3 yr 50% discount. They somehow have address and balance due information. They have hacked into xfinity accts from what I can tell.
