paid my bill, shows it posted but showing no internet connection on my home connection

please help me, i need the internet on today. i already paid, i want credit for the day if i cant get help.

Do you have our Xfinity app installed? We have this handy article here with steps on how to send activation signals to the modem through the app.

it worked, but please leave a message on your automated system to consult this support forum so you dont have so many [Edited: "Profanity"] customers please?

it's rediculous that i had to look this up on google and try it for a right answer, there is no way to contact an actual person in your phone support system.
