Overcharged
Xfinity told me my monthly bill is $60, but my payment history shows charges over $200 and many other inconsistent amounts. There is no clear pattern and the “missed months” explanation does not match the math. I tried getting help through chat but they have been stalling and making me wait for hours without resolving the issue. I need a clear explanation of these charges and a review of my account for possible overcharges and refunds.

Thanks for bringing this up. We definitely understand how frustrating it is when the bill doesn’t seem to line up with what you were told, and we’d want clear answers too.
When you see different amounts in the payment history, it’s usually because the monthly service rate and the total billed amount can be different. Things like partial billing cycles, prorated charges when a plan changes, equipment fees, taxes, or past-due balances can cause the amount charged in a given month to be higher than the standard monthly rate.
That said, the charges should still make sense when you look at the billing breakdown month by month. A good place to start is reviewing each statement in the billing section of your account, where it will show exactly how the total for that month was calculated.
If the math still doesn’t add up after reviewing the statements, it would absolutely make sense to have the account looked over more closely to see if anything was billed incorrectly. If you still need assistance, let us know, and we will be happy to take a look.
