Outages
Requesting bill credits for a prolonged outage and severe customer service delay.
My service went completely down for 2 full days due to an external outage, and it took 48 hours just to get a technician dispatched to my home. To make matters worse, I had to spend 3 hours on the phone with customer support trying to get this sorted out.
Because of the severe inconvenience and the total loss of service, I am requesting:
- A prorated bill credit for the 2 days my services were completely offline.
- A customer service inconvenience credit for the 3 hours spent trapped on phone support.
Please review my account history to verify the outage dates and apply these adjustments to my current billing cycle. Thank you.

Concern moved here to the Billing help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

I posted yesterday that my Internet had been out for two days and I had spent three hours on the phone trying to get it figured out before they sent out a Technician on Sunday. This is what he found. My neighbor had Xfinity out to hook up Internet. The technician that hooked up their Internet, unhooked my line and hooked theirs up. This is a complete disregard for customers. The technician that came out yesterday put in a split and hooked both lines up. This should haven’t done the first time and I would not have lost Internet or my time trying to figure this out as a result I will be canceling my Xfinity terrible that you have someone working there that doesn’t know his job.
