Online payments blocked after several small payments — please escalate to CSA

Hello Xfinity Support,

I recently returned to Xfinity from Verizon only a few months ago, and I’m disappointed that I’m already unable to make payments online. My account now displays: “You’ll need to make a payment in person. Please visit an Xfinity Store near you.”

Before this happened, I made several small payments—approximately $10 each—using different cards that I’m authorized to use. Based on this resolved case:

https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/billing/youll-need-to-make-a-payment-in-person/69bc07ad58321463f4415007

I believe Xfinity’s fraud controls may have interpreted that payment pattern as suspicious and placed an account-level hold on online or automated-phone payments.

I already tried getting help through Xfinity Assistant and online support, but unfortunately I was unable to get the restriction reviewed or resolved. That experience has been disappointing, especially after recently choosing to return to Xfinity.

Could an official Xfinity employee please:

1. Review my account for a potential fraud/payment block.
2. Confirm whether this is a fraud hold or a returned-payment restriction.
3. Escalate the issue to Customer Security Assurance (CSA) if appropriate.
4. Help restore online and automatic payments after verifying my identity privately.

I will provide my name, service address, and any required account information only through a private message after an official Xfinity employee requests verification. I am intentionally not including any personal, account, or card information in this public post.

Thank you.

I'd like to start by saying thank you for following the community forums guidelines so closely, it goes a long way. You are using the community forums support page exactly as it was intended. From the context that you have shared this does sound like a payment restriction, but we can confirm once we get your account pulled up. Let's move to the direct message conversation to gather the details needed to review your account and request the assistance of CSA if needed. Please send our team a direct message with your full name and service address.
