One of the worst internet experiences I have ever had.
If you were thinking about getting Xfinity wifi, LOOK ELSEWHERE. I have had a MISERABLE first week with xfinity... First off, the wifi router works for a solid 3 devices before blocking connection to other devices claiming "channel is overwhelmed". Oh well we can just change the channel it's on right? Wrong. It is IMPOSSIBLE to navigate their website, app, etc.. without being met with an overwhelming amount of error messages. Well maybe a representative could help right? Good luck talking to someone haha. Sat on hold for an hour before the virtual assistant told me there was an error and dropped my call... what a joke. Their live chat is some of the worst and slowest AI I have ever used and if you ask for a live agent they just connect you with a person that is obviously just another piece of AI just with a random name.
Furthermore, Xfinity has charged my roommate and I an additional $10 for NOW TV Latino which WE DID NOT SIGN UP FOR. The best part about it? THEY WILL NOT LET US CANCEL IT. The app gives us an error message every. single. time. and the AI bot said they cancelled it for us, but now our bill is $109 instead of the $66 that was WITH the latino TV. Like what the heck?
Horrible router. Even worse customer service. Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. I will be cancelling my subscription this week.
