Need help ! billing and promotion error
I am requesting assistance with an issue regarding my Xfinity plan.
I moved and transferred service in October and signed up for a $65.99/month promotion with a 5-year price lock. I have email confirmations documenting this offer.
During the move, Xfinity mixed up my accounts (old and new locations). After multiple calls, the account error was finally corrected , however, I am now being told that I cannot keep the original 5-year promotional rate, and instead must switch to $80/month for only one year.
This is not acceptable.
The promotion was valid when I signed up.
I have written proof of the plan.
The only reason it was removed is due to Xfinity’s internal mistake, not anything I did.
I should not be penalized financially for an account error made by Xfinity. I am requesting that my original $65.99 5-year price-locked plan be reinstated exactly as documented in my order confirmation.
Please escalate this to the appropriate team who can reinstate the promotion. I will be happy to provide the emails showing the original plan details. who can help ?

To send a "direct message" / "private message" message to Xfinity Support:
• Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
• As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
• An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send it
