My account is no longer active... but I was still able to pay my bill.

So I missed a payment by a couple days because I replaced the card that I use for auto payments a while ago. So I forgot to change it to my current new card. So I realized I needed to pay my Xfinity bill, so I paid it and tried changing my accounts payment method to my bank account instead of card so I wouldn't have to worry about that happening anymore but it didn't let me. I was prompted with a "Restricted section" message when I tried changing my auto payment method. My wifi was down so I had to buy the Xfinity Now pass to be able to use Internet. So I checked my bank account to see it the payment went through and maybe it was just processing. Checked it and it went though so I checked the app to see if it was maybe an outage but I got hit with a "You no longer have Xfinity service" message. So I reset the WiFi box to see if maybe u had to reset it back to it's default settings to get it up and running again. That didn't work. So I checked my actual account to see if maybe something happened that I didn't know about. My Xfinity email inbox had an email that said I had to pay my bill to get the Internet up and running again, after that one was another email that said that my payment went through. So I was confused why nothing was working. I than checked the account and identity section on the website and it said that "This account is no longer active" so now I'm stuck and don't know what to do. I didn't know missing a single payment by a couple days would cause this much issues. I already paid for the Xfinity NOW service just to even get online.

Hi there @Jose_LCG ! I am not sure what happened here, but you should not have had such an issue with simply missing a payment by a few days. I think we should take a look at this a bit further. Please send a direct message to us by clicking the chat icon in the upper right corner of the page, click on the pen and paper icon, then enter “Xfinity Support” in the “To” section. Please include your full name and complete street address to get started. Thanks!
