Moved and lost access to account. Now being overcharged by $100.
A couple months ago, I moved to a different city. I set up a pre-planned movement of service through the Comcast web page (might have been the phone app).
The day of the move, it said my account was no longer active. Assuming it was temporary, from the transition, I didn't think much of it.
Once I moved and set up my equipment, there seemed to be no service.
After many hours of working with customer service, I finally had Internet again... But my account still says "no longer active".
Feeling completely fed up, and with everything *technically* functioning, I decided to leave things there, since payment is automatic...
And now today, I was charged $145 as opposed to the usual $45. Any link or avenue (completely worthless) AI assistant sends me just goes back to "your account is no longer active".
There appears to be no way for me to find an itemized bill or contest any charges.

Concern moved here to the Billing help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hi @user_3tqi9h,
Firstly, I hope the move went about as good as a move can go! I know the process can be quite hard on you and settling for something just working for a moment is probably a fix I would have just come to grips with at some point. We'd be more than happy to locate the account and help get all things realigned. From there we can review billing and help you find the details that you have searching for. Please send our team a direct message with your full name and current address.
